“I remember when I needed sponsorship help for our charity run “Still, We RUN”. Winnie was there for me. Even though I had never seen her before, she helped me solely through WhatsApp. She emailed over 50 companies for sponsorships and at the end of the day, she managed to gain RM 2,500 worth of sponsorships. I’ve seen her lead her team of 14 for Movie Mayhem and watched her take charge for planning and promoting during Secret Cupid and Spiritastic. A good leader communicates, and Winnie is good at that – be it through online or face-to-face. She can do it all - working in teams, advising her peers or even convincing someone to get things done. "When I got into council, I had no idea what should I do because I did not know anyone of them and I wasn't that kind of person that easily makes friends. Winnie was the one who reached out to me and gave me a lot of help in council. Winnie was the project manager for Movie Mayhem. Even though Winnie was very busy, but she still put in a lot of efforts and always gave her best to us. She never complained and did not show any bad temper to us. “Being able to be one of the nominees to take on this challenging position, is already highlighting the personnel’s merit and virtues, proving them to be worthy of such influential position, allowing her to be in such a tight competition with other outstanding people. Therefore, I’m here to testify why I think this person, Ho Winnie, is suitable for this role.
First of all, she has been a huge role model to me, being able to have her as my senior, often giving me guidance and personally couch me in certain aspects has been the biggest blessing for me, and I cannot be anymore grateful for her presence. Winnie is a person that looks for much more than what’s on the surface of a person, and in my opinion, I think that this is a very important quality of a president as being a president is not jut picking out what seems to be the best at a given time but rather being able to observe someone or something and judge at multiple perspective.
The next point would be why Winnie is such a role model to me. Personally, I feel like she has taught me so much in this short period of time in council, she has never hesitated to point out my mistakes as well as other probates’ as well. Not only she is patient with us, she mentors us through this journey and gives us all sorts of advices and even assist in correcting what we’ve done wrong. Why I think this is an important attribute to have as a president because being a president doesn’t only mean to be a leader, but it also means to be a leader who guides people from within, to guide while looking past superiority and inferiority, to not take power into account. Even as a senior, she would stand as us, probates’, point of view and understand our mistakes and help amend us slowly and eventually making sure were being kept on the right tracks. An addition to that, I think Winnie practices other virtues that deserves to be brought up. Such as punctuality, endurance, modesty, and definitely sincerity. I think that these are the qualities that help build such her strong character and personality.
Lastly, I just want to put out that Winnie is such a friendly and fun person to be around and to be with. She never fails to make me laugh and is just so lively. I really enjoy being around her and I’m pretty sure there are many people around her that’s feels the same as well. I feel like being a president is more than just leading or ordering people around but instead relate to them on a friend level. Being able to befriend people is really a huge advantage, and I really look up to the fact that Winnie has this ability
I sincerely thinks that Winnie has the ability to take up this position, I genuinely believe that she is able to take up whatever challenges that the council will throw at her at any given time and still be able to tally out her other priorities. I have really seen the way she works and how hard she has been working for this position and I hope that she is able to achieve what she deserves.”

“I am a Junior of Winnie in Student a Council and I’m writing to tell why Winnie is suitable to become the president of Taylor’s College Student Council .
First of all , Winnie is a very friendly and approachable senior who takes good care of her juniors . She first approach me without any barrier while I was as in duty with her at the spiritastic booth . This quality of Winnie will greatly improve the relationship between members as she is able to create a friendly atmosphere
Secondly, Winnie also takes her tasks seriously . Throughout spiritastic week , I can see that Winnie takes each and every task seriously and will not let any small error occur. She would revise the google docs again and again to make sure everything is correct. This shows how serious Winnie is with student council’s work which is very important in order to become the president of Student Council.Last but not least , Winnie is also wise for someone at her age. Although Winnie is the same age as me , she still gives good advice and point out flaws in order to help myself to improve. This means that Winnie would lead the council members well as she can help the members to grow by teaching the right way and giving the members good advices, hence indirectly improve council as a whole .
